Manage passcode rules in the Library

New passcode rules can be created in the Library, then applied to devices. Passcode rules can also be applied to one or more devices using a policy. Passcodes can then be managed by editing rule sets in the Library.

If you have previously applied passcode restrictions to any of your devices, those restrictions will remain in place.

Create Passcode Rule Set in Library

To create and save a set of passcode rules:

1. Select the Libraries tab in top navigation.
2. Click Passcode Rules.
3. Click Add New.
4. Name your new passcode rule and set restrictions.
5. Click Save.

Edit Passcode Rule Set in Library

1. Select the Libraries tab in top navigation.
2. Click Passcode Rules.
3. Select a passcode rule set from the main list.
4. In the right panel, click Edit.
5. Make edits to any available fields, then click Save.

Remove Passcode Rule Set from Library

1. Select the Libraries tab in top navigation.
2. Click Passcode Rules.
3. Select a passcode rule set from the main list.
4. In the right panel, click Remove.

   NOTE: This action deletes a passcode rule set from the library, and from any policies to which it was linked.

5. Click Confirm.
